I think I am going to sport a Pony-hawk

I pride myself on being one of the few people in the world who can honestly say they have never-ever watched American Idol.


Sadly, I cannot claim that dubious distinction anymore. This very night, I was seduced into watching the show by the very influential icon, Howard Stern.

See, it all started with the daily rantings of Eric the midget (see photo)
He is a "whack packer" on the Howard Stern show. He is a crazy little person who believes that he is somewhat of an American Idol expert. He is known for his obsession Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Katharine McPhee.

In an attempt to piss Eric off, Howard asked his listeners to vote for Sanjaya.. Apparently, he is this Indian fellow who has only remained on the show because Howard believes that when people call to place their votes, the calls are forwarded to India... and the operators are fixing the results. (Hello, Miss Meghan. My name is Chad) Anyways, I called my nephew and asked him to get me the phone number to vote for the Indian fellow. He said No. He INSISTED that I watch. He said it would be irresponsible to place a vote and not watch the show... HMPH.. I just want the damn number!!!

Ugh.. anyways, I turned on the "show" just in time to catch Gwynn Stefani ending some clip she taped on how to sing her stupid songs ..(sell out!) and then Sanjaya stepped on to the stage. Um, AHHHH ?? HUH? PONYHAWK? What the hell was that??

I couldn't get through the whole song! I wanted to literally stab the sharpest pencil in to my poor defenseless ear drum.. I love Howard Stern and all, but there are limits!!

My nephew finally gave me the number and I called like 50 times.. I hope he wins. Down with IDOL!

The day has finally come. There is something I will not do, eventhough it involves Jet. Yes, dear reader, mark your calendar.

I thought that I would do anything .. anything in the world to support the greatest rock band I had ever come across. But NO. That distinction I was so proud of has officially gone ca-puts. It is over. The dedication and love I have for them does have a limit and I can only be expected to do so much, right?
I heard today from the fab website , www.jetbrasil.com, that JET had given the rights to the song RIP IT UP.. to a movie... Now I think I am pretty open minded. I can STAND just about anything, as long as it doesn't include a hobbit, gremlin or ewok. With that said, Unfortunately, I have to add TURTLE to this list. I cannot imagine why in the world JET would give their song, the one written about the no talent, Paris HIlton, to the the Mutant Ninja Turtles.. Is this a joke? Am I being Punk'd? There has to be some reasonable explanantion.. please dear God tell me what that reason is!

so there is this fab board that Jet fans can chat and discuss anything and everything Jet. Being the boys are on a world tour, the fans post pics and their experiences at the latest show.

Case in point. ( Pic Above.) This is from the show last night in Portsmouth.. (Yeah, don't ask.. I have NO CLUE where it is.. ) Anyway, this picture totally takes me back to the shows I attended in October.. (heavy sigh)

I have made a few decisions (yes, Frank.. Decisions.. Not Choices) about my upcoming April road trip.

• Do not be consumed with taking pictures that will most likely be all fuzzy and out of focus. Just ENJOY THE SHOW!!!
• Meet up with Nic prior to the show because he gets awfully sweaty and yucky during and most likely after the show.
• Don't stare too long at his jacked up teeth. (It is actually kind of charming.. makes him seem normal.. )

Dear reader, I am sorry. I decided to take a walk down memory lane.. and peruse my site.. and as I clicked on several of the YOU TUBE movies, they indicated the movies were no longer available.. HUH? When did those mo fo's start doing this.. 3 out of 5 were UNAVAILABLE.. Do these you tube people think I have all the time in the world? I cannot go back through the many posts and find alternate videos.. do you think I have nothing else in life to do.. hmph. I am sorry.

Jesus loves me .. this I know cuz ticketmaster tells me so!!

OK.. Jet concerts are selling out ..and I am getting my tix.. THANK YOU JESUS.
