I blinked......

and my Jet excursion is over. I sit here and think where I was a week ago today... A week ago today, I was in LA. The city of angels. (sigh)

The night before I got to LA, I was up LATE at the Vegas show.. but I woke super early (7am wake up call) to get on the road. I was genuinely excited to see Jet again. The new songs were better then I imagined and I wanted MORE.. MORE.. MORE.. When I checked out, I could of sworn the dude next to me was settling up the band's bill. He just seemed to be a part of the whole entourage. (leather jacket.. flip flops.. dirty rock star look) As I was walking away, they were talking about the charges at the "pool".. (Silly Cam was spying on the pretty girls I bet) So, I hit the road... And I was making GOOD time. I was secretly hoping to drive along side the Jet tour bus.. but wasn't so lucky. :( I got to LA at about 2.. checked in to my AWESOME room. (So much better then the LAST Jet trip...I discovered that the star rating IS something to pay attention to.. HAHAHA)
I got all comfy in my room.. and was a lil freaked out about all the mirrors.. (hello, Garden state? I was sure that the bell boys were spying on me and I was scared to get nake') I finally did.. get NAKE' and got in to the tub.. took a nice HOT bath and commenced the gettin' ready routine. I got all rock star'd out.. I wore a white shirt... Jeans and black wedges. I thought I looked super cute. I was hot as all get out because the city was also going through a damn heat wave.. ugh..
I got to the club .. and parked across the street.. (DAMN. this would mean I would have to cross Sunset.. SCARY!)I crossed.. and only once was nearly hit by a speeding car.. (shew) When I got to the line, My OLD friends (wink wink) Meshell and Alex were there.. YEAH .. JET FREAKS.. Just like me! We made chit chat and settled into the line.. (sigh) There I was in line.. at the Key Club.. patiently waiting for the doors to open.. I was so excited when they finally did.. I got my standard Corona.. and made a bee line for the stage. I am so retarded, the club was REALLY dark and I was so determined to get in the front.. I missed two large steps and nearly came crashing on to my face. (I am such an idiot)I did this really goofy running man impression.. hahaha... made it look planned and not happy school bus.. boy she needs a helmet type deal...I did manager to score "MY" spot.. and MiShell and Alex were right next to me.. I was very happy (buzzed)

Loved the opening band, the paper tongues.. (I have their song in my head this second.. and I am starting to go crazy!!UGH) But they were good and I think I might actually get their album, too.. BUT .. Jet came on.. and my friend Christine (AKA Christmas) came up behind me.. ANOTHER Jet freak.. YEAH! We rocked out.. and she snagged me Nic's guitar pic..

After the show, I hung out for a bit wanting to (yet again) have Nic sign my nummy boob.. But my feeties were hurting and I figured I had another night.So, me and my boob went home.. (hahaha back to the hotel) and ZONKED OUT.

P.S. Did you see the "No Stage Diving" sign? DAMN.. I was SO ready for it,too!

P.P.S. Cam and the boys did an interview with SPIN last Saturday .. and they said the LA show was by far one of the best shows they have done. :) Did I mention I was there.. front row center.. ahem.. But it can't be ALL me.. I mean Jet did pretty good, too. ;)
