Woe is me..

Most of what has been going on with me lately, can easily squeeze into the 140 character allotment on Twitter..And therefore I do not feel it necessary to BLOG about it.. I mean, having Andy Dick tweet how cute I am doesn't really require a whole lotta words and stuff... If something interesting happens or does come up I shall tell you.. promise..
Hence, my story below....
I came across this vid from Chris and Mitch from Damn Dogs.. And it BROKE my heart! Chris makes a reference to the JET infighting and the problem of raging egos.. Hmm. He can't be talking about Mark or Louie, as they are in Damn Dogs.. So, he is saying that either Cam (sweet Cam) or Nic (sexy Nic) have created an environment not conducive to JET being a band.. I am so unhappy.. Jet is my SUN!!!

The ONLY thing that will make me come off the ledge would be if Nic does a side project... AND tours in Northern California.... SOON.. Please?!!?? Nic.. My <3 ..

Wild night in the city.....

Very last minute, I decided to travel to San Francisco to see the first ever Bay area performance of the Damn Dogs. The Damn Dogs were created (I am hoping) to keep 2 members of the epic rock band JET busy while the other 2 members are doing a little relaxing and such. You know a hiatus, side type thing...

ANYways.. Got pretty lit at the show and was surprised that, at times, I was the only person there.. the hipster members of the band were setting up their own sound systems.. (no roadies!!)

The music was good.. but the show was WAY too quick.. Talked to Chris who is the brother of my 2nd hubby, Nic.. He said he remembers me.. but I am not sure that is necessarily a good thing... UGH.... He signed my limited edition CD.. woot woot.. not happy about his blurb on the CD, though.. I am hoping its just a drunk rambling... (Not about loving me, about JET WAS here.. blah blah blah) :)

Dear Shark Tank peeps, I was at HP to see Katy Perry yesterday. I sat in section 114 and happily excused myself during the opening act to get my drink on and headed for the bar ... While I was waiting, my lipstick fell on the floor and to steady myself, i grabbed hold of the underside of the bar. My hand came in to contact with what I assume was a lightbulb that was literally as hot as the sun. my finger sizzled and has sense blistered . I would hope that you don't want this to happen again.. I would be willing to forgive you if you could arrange a meet and greet with enrique ... ;) XO

Sitting and waiting for Jet to tour gets REALLY boring. I give mad props to Chris, Mark and Louie for putting together a side project (The Damn Dogs) .. But, come on I have ADD and need to be kept busy..SO. I did some traveling.. Europe was amazing, I experienced a love affair, Incredible intrigue, a fight with the bathroom mafia and a toupe' ... More to follow, lovers.

So, I happened upon a fab interview about Jet on Australian TV.. I was excited to see they were talking about the future of Jet.. Nic said they are taking a year off to breathe and explore other stuff.. He said that Jet had become a burden.. WTF?!?! How can something that means SO much to me be a burden? I am sad.

Canada STILL sux

If this was Twitter, this would be considered a retweet... But blogger really doesn't have that.. But I feel the need to revisit this. In a months time I will be going on a cruise with my dear sister and niece and we will be stopping for 1 day in Canada. I honestly believe that is a day too much. I feel this way primarily because they think it is STILL ok to brutally massacre seals. SHAME on you Canada. I shall stay on the boat that day and not support you in ANY way! The lovely boys in JET concur......

When the rumors that the uber bitch, Kate Hudson, was seen with Nic Cester I was a little sad. She must have some magic snatch or something, because the boys seem to go into the yard for HER milkshake. I was happy to see it was just a lunch date and Nic stayed true to his BEAUTY Pia. (sigh) Funny to see now that Good Ol Kate is knocked up with the lead singer of Muse's love child.. Doesn't he look ALOT like NIC?? Just sayin! Anyway, today I was checking google to see if there was any NEW hot pics of Nic and I was upset to see when I googled NIC CESTER.. photos of Kate Hudson STILL come up.. UGH.. I was bumming out.. The official Jet site suggested to check back often because news was on its way about new tour dates. I pressed the moderator who declined knowing ANY information and stated that the band was "with their families" and most likely will eventually return.

I broke down and went into my JET fund and bought tickets to see Prince on Monday. Come on, I know you think he is sexy. Be careful Nic, I might see his sweet ass and forget about yours!

I am a mess

I saw a homeless man on the corner and I was horrified that the light was turning red.. I would be stuck in front of him for a full light cycle.. He was dirty and had one of those signs begging for money.. Why doesn't he go out and spend this time looking for a job?? Why doesn't he ..wait.. out of no where.. a DOG . He had a dog. a cute, sweet dog who was playing in the grass on the side of the road. I gave the man some money. I am pretty messed up that I have come to a point where I can extend a helping hand to a dog, but not a man.... HMM...

When I was in Seattle or Portland.. (can't remember which) I talked myself backstage and was delighted to speak a bit with the boys of Jet. I had always watched Chris play the drums and wondered why he did so with his mouth WIDE open... SO.. I asked, Why my dear friend do you do that.. He said.. "to breathe, love. Its a bitch to play the drums. I'd pass out if I didn't breathe" .. Gotta LOVE Coco's daddy..

Normal is boring...

A family member mentioned to me that I was the topic of his therapy session. I wasn't something that needed to be "worked through" but just involved in a story that he wanted to share with his doctor. I understand that the doctor can only go by what he is told and I imagine the storyteller painted me a bit weird, but the doctor's response really upset me. Apparently, I am immature and crazy. This comment was made by a medical professional. OK, it was a KAISER doctor.. which says ALOT about his actual qualifications (or lack there of).. but the comment is so irresponsible. Some people believe that doctors are all knowing and sit above everyone in a Frazier like stupor.. But, let me remind you, dear doctor, that you are a dude who took a few psychology classes. I mean you can't even prescribe meds!!!! You are one step away from answering the Miss Cleo hotline... I have a right mind to send a letter or make a call.. but I don't want to fuel his concept of who I am. Boo You, "doctor"

So, when Shaka Rock was released, in my opinion, JET did not have a proper tour. In order for a tour to be considered proper, they would need to have a show in San Francisco. It is a critical hub in the Rock world.. I wondered when AND if they would ever show up.. weeks turned into months which has turned into years... How could they be surviving without touring and getting their music out to the minions? I mean Chris just had a baby (Coco Cester) and Cam just got married to Sara and Nic asked Pia to be his wife... Not sure about Mark.. he keeps EVERYTHING on the down low.. (Although I follow his sister on Twitter to try and get any secret details ... @JacWil ) So.. It all of the sudden hit me when this commercial came on.. Jet is making bank selling all their tunes to use in commercials.. (sigh) I don't care if you sell out.. I mean you need some mula to buy a house at Lake Cuomo... I get it.. But PUHLEASE... Tour.. or at least make a special trip to see me? ;)

When a person finds out you are unemployed, they tend to think you are available... Available for any type of weird shit they can't find anyone else to help with. Lately, everyone under the sun has asked me for help... Despite what you might think, friend, I am not merely an extra in your life story... Back on track

Ok, So I am getting back on track.. Hence the title of this lil entry. A few months ago.. when I returned from Brisbane, I mentioned a bit about my trip and then it all went black.. No news.. I know, how could I? How could I leave you hanging.. So.. I promise I will try and get back on track so you can continue to live vicariously through me.. (Shutup, I know you do).

So, Brisbane was good. One of the best parts was the people I met at the shows. Most were super kewl. These two girls.. both 15.. took me in and we became besties. It only saddens me NOW that I could (gulp) be their mothers.. cuz at the time I had a BEEEE-yah and was FEELING like a young gal. I don't remember their names, but will heart them forever!!! MAD PROPS to my BFFs in Brisbane!

Yeah, great.. I didn't win.

They picked another video to win the cover contest. I didn't really want to win, nor did I want the prizes.. I just wanted Nic to see the video and think I was clever. I know I didn't spend that much time on the videos production, but I still thought it was a lil creative.. :( I wonder if they watched more then 2 seconds of it.. or if they watched it at all.. (sigh) I AM a lucky fan.. I was able to travel to Australia to see them 6 times.. and I have traveled in the US a bunch to see them.. and met them all a bunch of times.. Alot of people haven't had the chance to see them once... let alone 30+ times.. I just want more.. Maybe I need to up my happy pills.. Any thoughts?
